STRAF is a multidisciplinary design studio located in Belgium and the US. “Studio” STRAF was founded by Julie Claes in 2014 and creates timeless architecture that feels warm, safe, and comfortable. Consisting of an international team of 10 talented people, the Studio focuses primarily on building vernacular spaces that transcends generations and stimulate well-being. “Studio” STRAF shows a profound sensibility for the relationship between nature and the human element. In the spring of 2020, “Atelier” STRAF was born. The team of STRAF felt the need to create custom furniture pieces that find their origin in the essence of nature by establishing collabs and making artisan and local products.
